Well, people tend to be kind of weirded out by incest, so a lot of them try to steer clear of Wincest. What can you do.
I have to admit, others would avoid the spn fandom if our representative ship was an incestuous one.
But Wincest IS our representative ship. Because everything started and everything’s gonna end with it, because they’re the main characters, because their love saved the world, because they’d choose the other over anyone, because it has the biggest canon elements, because basically the whole show is their love story. How could ANY other ship represent this show and this fandom? No way. And this is what people from other fandoms are gonna find if they decide to start watching Supernatural, not the Dean&Cas story as they might think from that photoset, in which all other ships were “the one and only” of their slash fandom.
I don’t get this need to show our fandom for what it isn’t, we’re not publicizing or anything. The first ship of this fandom is an incestuous one, that’s the way it is.
Re: the cas secret... what hate? There was no 'hate' in those comments, just some sarcasm. You might want to brush up on your idea of hate.

What do you want me to call these replies, um, “rude”? Ok, let’s go with rude, if you think that’s more accurate.
The point is, people was commenting only on that one sentence and totally misunderstanding the whole secret (which basically says “Castiel is gonna die for good and nobody loves him, leave him alone”) and just insulting the OP for something they didn’t mean.
I love sarcasm, you can believe me. I just think those replies were a bit over the edge, given the obvious typo.
Yes, it was a typo! Thank GOD someone was smart enough to figure it out. I sent an ask to the secrets blog telling them that it was a mistype.
LOL! Yes, it was quite clear given the rest of the secret. :D Want me to reblog again and add that you’ve confirmed it was a typo? Not sure if people will read all notes, but still.
